Oli ClarksonPrincipal Trainer Coming from a sports science background I have always taken interest in how the human body functions and how to work it most effectively to get the best results.
I believe the key to achieving your health and fitness goals is to first understand your body - as personal training professionals it is simply our job to help you develop an exercise programme to suits your needs.
I¹ve been a keen sportsman all my life and have represented at a club and national level in a variety of sports. I have a first class understanding of the latest training techniques used by top athletes and fitness professionals and can therefore offer my clients a comprehensive range of fitness solutions.
My main passion is helping people and I get a huge sense of satisfaction when clients enjoy what they are doing. I provide a fresh approach to my training sessions and always aim put emphasis on the 'personal' in personal training, every session is about how best we can make you fitter.
Oli James Taylor-Medhurst Personal Trainer Over the years I have competed in many different sports including muay thai, rugby, athletics and truly believe the success I have achieved is down to regular exercise, discipline and self-belief. My involvement in team sports has helped me develop effective training techniques and exercises, which improve client’s physical and mental agility. I offer tailored fitness and nutrition to all clients looking to better themselves. On a one-to-one basis, with training partners or even group sessions I will make every effort to create effective training plans and schedules to enable you to reach your targets. Day-to-day I deal with a wide variety of interesting people with very different goals ranging from strength training, increased muscle mass, toning, fat loss and flexibility or even just to release tension built up from their busy lifestyles. My theory is that confidence is the key to an effective and enjoyable training regime, if you lack the willingness to fully commit yourself it is much harder to reach those final goals. It is my job as your personal trainer to give you the extra drive and determination so that you can overcome obstacles, create new objectives and learn more about your body. I favour using techniques such as boxing, aerobics, athletics, free weights and body weights in my programmes but I also encourage my clients to try new and more challenging forms of training as this helps to build both enthusiasm and self-belief in your abilities.
I aim to reach all of my client's objectives whether they are; fat loss, postural improvement, nutritional advice or muscle mass/tone, and i do so in a safe and fun environment, I also advise in nutrition/diet plans. The most important part of personal training for me is teaching my clients the benefits of getting and keeping fit and giving inspirational fitness solutions that fit in to your lifestyle.
